HOW TO VISIT STOCKBRIDGE SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE
So… you’ve perused our website, read about our majors, saw our recent news, checked out our Instagram, and watched a few videos from our YouTube channel. Maybe you even checked out some media coverage of our and our alumni's recent accomplishments on our Facebook page. Now it’s time to arrange a visit to see us in person. Stockbridge School of Agriculture is located on the UMass Amherst campus. We’re excited to have you visit both UMass and the Stockbridge School of Agriculture, and we’ve got a lot to show you.
Whether you have already been admitted to the University of Massachusetts, or are planning to be a future applicant, this page is your invitation to come visit us. Read On!
REGISTER WITH BOTH UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS AND THE STOCKBRIDGE SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE
We recommend that you first Register for a University Admissions Tour. Plan on having a meal at our famously #1-ranked dining commons. We strongly recommend visiting UMass on a weekday. If you choose to visit on a weekend, you may find that buildings of interest are locked, faculty and staff are off-duty, and students are less available on campus to chat. Please be aware that University tours are not available from May 9 to May 20. You can still choose to tour Stockbridge during these dates, and can choose a self-guided or virtual tour of the University campus using the links below.
Once you have reserved your spot with UMass Admissions (if available), you can then Register for a Personalized Tour of Stockbridge. Please avoid these dates during which we are unable to provide a Stockbridge tour: Friday May 13, and Thursday May 26 through Monday May 30. As the date for your visit approaches, Nessim Watson (he/him), our Stockbridge Director of Student Recruitment, will reach out to you by email to arrange for your visit to Stockbridge either before or after your University Admissions program.
COVID HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Our campus is doing exceptionally well. Fall 2021 marked our full return to in-person learning and the campus is bustling with activity. So far, more than 97% of our students, faculty, and staff are vaccinated. Our campus also led the way in providing free testing services for Western Massachusetts residents. Our strategic and organized response to the pandemic continues to produce one of the lowest positivity rates in both our state and the nation. As a result, UMass has lifted its indoor mask requirement. Visitors are encouraged to adopt the public health protocols applicable to their own circumstances. See the most updated information on our protocols, and our success rate.
