Mike Stacy Landscaping - Landscape Construction Foreman

This is a full-time, (5 - 6 days / 40-60 hour a week), full time position and or Seasonal positioning from approximately mid-March to late December. Snow removal is required and its random hours necessary to cover unpredictable conditions. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 - 5:00 pm, but may include Saturdays which are required when called upon, evening hours- days, and holiday work as deemed necessary. Required to help in other areas of the business such as the maintenance division when called upon. $30.00 per Hour or salary depending on candidate Years of Experience:5 Years Min Field Experience - 2 years in Supervisory and or Foreman role, sales a plus Type of Experience:Some experience in estimating construction projects. Some experience in drafting landscape plans, but must be able to read scaled landscape plans. Implementing a landscape plan or landscape project as described within budgeted time meanwhile providing a high quality product. Must be able to successfully run a project (with 1-2 other employees in need of oversight, training, coordinating) from inception to completion with very little oversight. Projects scale from $1000.00 to $200k. in size. Fluency in grading, drainage, masonry, SRW, hardscape, irrigation, and plantings. Education:High School Diploma - Some College - Associates degree a plus Licenses/Certificates/Health Cards:Horticulture Certificate, Turf management, Applicators license. It’s preferred to have a valid CDL Class A or B License. Strongly recommended to have 2A/1C Hoisting License. Health Card is mandatory. Certificate Programs a plus: i.e. NOFA, Green School, Irrigation auditor, MCLP Continued Education:Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, participating in necessary trade shows/ seminars.
