The Equine Management program is moving to Veterinary and Animal Sciences as a 4-year concentration starting in the fall of 2018. The Fall 2017 class of freshmen will be the final AS students accepted to the program through the Stockbridge School of Agriculture. through the (BDIC) program at UMass Amherst

 

The BDIC program at UMass Amherst offers highly motivated and self-directed
juniors and seniors the opportunity to design their own interdisciplinary equine major.

Examples of current Equine BDIC majors include:

 Equine Journalism, Equine Therapy & Rehabilitation

 Equine Agricultural Education, Equine Business,

 Equine Training Psychology, Equine Entrepreneurship, and

 Equine Nutritional Sciences.
