The Stockbridge School's two-year program in Arboriculture prepared graduates for a range of careers, offering a good salary, room for advancement, and many opportunities. There are career opportunities all over the world for Stockbridge Arboriculture graduates, but especially in New England, where so many of our alumni have built and grown their own businesses. Stockbridge has always fostered the entrepreneurial spirit and students take business courses to prepare them for lucrative careers. Our goal is to provide students with the necessary skills to make them successful in the field and, ultimately, managing or owning a business.

Arborists who work in affluent markets frequently command six-figure salaries, giving our graduates a great return on investment. Alumni, trade organizations, and companies annually donate nearly $30,000 in scholarships to our students, increasing the return on an investment in Stockbridge. As more and more people move to urban and suburban areas around the world, the importance of managing neighborhood trees will increase, increasing demand for qualified graduates.
