Livestock Roles in Australia

Our clients are currently seeking livestock hands to work in the Australian Cattle industry. Current Roles: • Ranch Livestock Roles Duties include operation, repair and maintenance of all farm machinery, cattle handling and mustering on horses, motorbikes and quad bikes, working livestock in close quarters performing yard-work, general farm maintenance and labouring, identify and report the conditions of cattle, water conditions and grass per paddock. • Feedlot Roles Duties include operation, repair and maintenance of all farm machinery, cattle handling, working livestock in close quarters performing yard work and inductions of cattle, general feedlot maintenance and labouring, identify cattle health, milling of feed, and feeding cattle in yards. To be eligible you must have experience working with livestock (cattle), general operating and servicing experience of farm equipment, the ability to problem solve, communicate effectively via phone and 2-way radio and carry out standard day to day tasks, as well as highly accurate attention to detail. On farm accommodation is provided in workers quarters and the pay will vary from place to place, however may be a day rate of $150+/day or hourly at $20+/hour.
