Job Description: 
Merrifield Garden and Design is a garden and landscape installation company serving residential clients in the Boston metro west area. Our services include Fine Gardening, Ornamental Pruning, Plant Health Care, Landscape Installations, and Design. We're looking for a qualified Landscape Designer / Project Manager to add to our team for the 2018 season. This is a design, sales and management position. This is an exciting position for someone interested in leading the continued growth and development of our design/build division and who is interested in building a career with a professional, team oriented company. Minimum Qualifications: 
• A degree or certificate in Landscape Design. • Ability to produce professional quality residential landscape designs by hand or computer program. • 5+ years experience estimating and managing residential design/build projects - primarily focused on small to mid-sized suburban properties. • Experience in all aspects of landscape project management - estimating, plant and material sourcing, on site crew management, training, etc. • Proven ability to generate and produce outside sales and leads. • Excellent plant identification and knowledge of perennials, shrubs and trees. • Prior field experience maintaining gardens and residential landscapes. • Ability to maintain a high level of customer communication via phone, email and on site according to MGD standards. • Experience working with a wide array of hardscape and stone products and ability to train crew members on various installation techniques and methods. • Self-motivated and able and willing to work in a fast paced environment. • Prior experience and participation in business growth and development projects.
Wage, Salary & Benefits Description:
