Veterans

If you are a veteran and are looking for a great way to assimilate into UMass Amherst checkout the Stockbridge School.  We are the associate of science degree program at UMass specializing in sustainable green industry technology. A degree from one of our 6 majors can lead to great professional opportunities; "you don't need to spend 100K to make 100K". We are looking for highly motivated individuals who appreciate the rigors of a structured program while keeping the close student-faculty relationships. The majority of our veterans who have completed their Stockbridge degree have continued their education in one of the many 4 year programs at UMass Amherst. You will receive two degrees in four years or less. You may be able to receive UMass Amherst credits for military courses and college-level exams completed during active duty. This would shorten your education responsibilities. A number of recent veterans have completed their AS and BS degrees in three years.
